Company Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. crushed graham crackers
    2 cans applesauce
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Saute the nuts in butter until golden brown over low heat. Add brown sugar and crushed crackers.
    Mix well.
    Place crumb mixture over bottom of loaf pan (save 1/2 cup for top).
    Pour applesauce over crumbs. Top with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle top with reserved crumbs. Can be used as salad or dessert.
