Basic Alfredo Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
3/4 to 1 Tbsp. garlic
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated skim milk
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. black pepper
salt to taste
Preparation

Saute onion in the vegetable oil until tender.
Stir in the flour and garlic until smooth.
Slowly stir in the evaporated skim milk.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese, basil and black pepper.
Serve on hot pasta. Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
