Strawberry Triumph Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
    1 qt. strawberries (unsweetened)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. sugar
    Cool Whip or 1 carton whipping cream, whipped (for topping)
Preparation
    Divide 1 quart of strawberries in half.
    Crush half of berries and add cornstarch, sugar and lemon juice.
    Stir over medium heat until thick and clear.
    Cool.
    Add last half of berries to cooled mixture.
    Pour into baked pie crust.
    When chilled, cover with whipped topping.
