Green Tomato Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1 head cabbage (small head)
    1 lb. onions
    1 doz. red sweet peppers
    1 doz. green sweet peppers
    1 spice bag (small)
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes and let stand overnight.
    Drain off juice. Add peppers and onions.
    Mix well.
    Add sugar, salt and spice bag. Let cook about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Place in hot sterilized jars.
