Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    4 c. peeled and sliced tart apples
Preparation
    Blend dry ingredients in a bowl.
    Add butter to bowl and mix well.
    Spread oatmeal; mix on top of apples and press lightly in greased pan.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Double for 9 x 13.
