Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced squash
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    salad oil
Preparation
    Combine squash, onion and green pepper in a saucepan with a small amount of water.
    Cook over medium heat until tender.
    Drain and add next 5 ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Drop by tablespoonful into hot oil; cook until brown.
