Brunch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices bread
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    paprika to taste
    1 small whole onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. cooked bacon, ham or cooked loose pork sausage
Preparation
    Twenty-four hours before serving, remove crust from bread; cube bread (older bread is better).
    In a mixing bowl, mix all other ingredients.
    In a buttered casserole dish (9 x 13-inch), layer bread, meat and cheese.
    Pour egg mixture over.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator.
    Bring to room temperature. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Test for completion.
