Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. applesauce (canned)
    1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; stir in applesauce and water. Stir in dry ingredients.
    Add raisins and nuts.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until tested done. Can be iced with Cream Cheese Frosting.
