Shauna'S Knock 'Em Dead - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and cut up
Preparation

Place 1/2 of wafers on bottom of 8 x 8-inch pan.
Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
Add egg and beat until light and creamy.
Spread over crumbs.
Whip whipping cream and then add nuts, pineapple and cherries.
Spread over crust.
Add remaining crumbs to top and let stand 24 hours in refrigerator.
This may be doubled and a 9 x 13-inch pan used.
