Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, torn up
1 small can LeSueur peas, drained
2 grated carrots
1 small to medium bell pepper, cut up
1 small to medium onion, chopped
1 medium cucumber, sliced
2 small to medium tomatoes, cut up
mayonnaise
grated cheese
1/2 c. ReaLemon juice
bacon bits (real)
Preparation

Wash and drain all vegetables.
Begin with lettuce, in bottom of container that can be sealed tightly.
Layer peas on top of lettuce.
Rest of vegetables may be layered as desired.
End with another layer of lettuce.
Sprinkle lemon juice all over salad. Seal top of salad with mayonnaise to airtight.
Garnish with cheese and real bacon bits.
Seal container with lid.
Refrigerate overnight or 8 hours.
