Carrot Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground round
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
4 c. tomato juice or V-8
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. grated carrots
1 Tbsp. sugar (may omit)
1/2 tsp. marjoram
pinch of garlic
salt and pepper
Swiss cheese
Preparation

Brown hamburger and set aside.
In same pan, cook celery, onion and bell peppers about 10 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients plus hamburger and cook over low to medium heat for 3 to 4 hours.
Serve with small cubes of Swiss cheese on top.
