Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
2 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 pt. strawberries (fresh)
2 pie crusts, baked
1 large box strawberry jello
Cool Whip topping
Preparation

In saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.
Bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear.
Remove from heat and add a large box strawberry jello.
Arrange strawberries in pie shells and pour hot mixture over.
Chill and top with Cool Whip.
Yields 2 pies.
