Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    Approximately 1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 heaping tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, corn syrup, maple syrup and salt and boil mixture to 238\u00b0 (thread).
    Add peanuts and boil to about 295\u00b0. Stir frequently, as this will burn easily.
    Then add butter and soda, mixing well. Pour in 2 buttered sheet pans, shaking it thin. When cool enough, break into pieces.
