Buttercup Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. other flavoring
2 medium eggs
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt. Add shortening, buttermilk, vanilla, and other flavoring.
Beat 2 minutes on high speed.
Add 2 eggs.
Beat 2 minutes on high.
Pour into 2 greased round 8 inch pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
