Fresh Gooseberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh gooseberries
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Crush 1/2 cup gooseberries.
    Combine sugar, tapioca and salt. Add the whole gooseberries.
    Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Pour into pastry-lined plate and dot with butter or margarine. Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake about 30 minutes longer or until crust is done.
