Tutti-Frutti Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. whipped cream or topping (optional)
Preparation
    Drain fruit cocktail; reserve 1/2 cup liquid. Combine next 4 ingredients.
    Beat egg until thick and lemon colored.
    Add drained fruit cocktail and 1/2 cup reserved liquid.
    Stir in flour mixture. Turn into an 8-inch greased and floured pan. Combine nuts and brown sugar.
    Mix well and sprinkle over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Serve warm with whipped cream or other topping.
