Eunice Ratliff'S Calico Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. hamburger meat
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. mustard
    4 tsp. cider vinegar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 large can baked beans
    1 can chickpeas (garbanzos), drained
    1 can red kidney beans, drained
    1 can green limas, drained
Preparation
    Fry
    bacon
    until
    crisp.
    Remove
    bacon.
    Crumble
    and reserve.
    Brown hamburger
    in
    bacon fat.
    Add onion, ketchup, salt, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and bacon; simmer for five minutes.
    Mix beans together and add to sauce.
    Bake in baking dish or bean pot for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 10 to 12.
