Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 10 apples, depending on size (Gravenstein preferable, but Pippins will do)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Peel, core and slice apples and place in buttered 2-quart glass oblong baking dish.
    Mix sugar and spices and sprinkle over apples.
    Drizzle hot water over all.
