Surprise Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (Swiss or German chocolate)
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
dash of salt

Preparation

Make cake according to package directions.
Fill paper liners in cupcake pans 2/3 full with mix.
Mix cream cheese with egg, sugar and salt.
Stir in chocolate chips.
