1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to butter and egg mixture alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
