Rice And Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, chopped
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 c. uncooked brown rice
    1 tsp. ground marjoram
    1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail or chopped peaches, drained
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium saucepan, melt butter.
    Stir in onion, green pepper, celery and mushrooms; cover.
    Cook 5 minutes or until tender.
    Stir in water and chicken bouillon cubes; heat until boiling.
    Remove from heat; stir in rice, marjoram, salt and pepper.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole; cover.
    Bake 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid absorbed.
    Stir in fruit cocktail or peaches.
    Bake 15 minutes longer or until fruit is hot.
    Makes 8 servings.
