Tabasco Marinated Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. raw shrimp (fresh or frozen)
    2 (12 oz.) bottles or cans beer
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 slice onion
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1/4 tsp. bitters (Peychaud or Angostura)
Preparation
    Remove shells and veins from shrimp.
    Rinse.
    In a saucepan, combine beer, Tabasco, salt, mustard, vinegar, onion, honey and bitters.
    Bring to a boil and simmer about 1 minute.
    Add only enough cleaned shrimp as will be covered by the liquid mixture. Return the mixture to a boil and then simmer 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp.
    Remove shrimp from the liquid.
    Add remaining shrimp and repeat the cooking procedure.
