Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large green tomatoes
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cut green tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices; set aside. Combine flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Lightly coat tomatoes on both sides with flour mixture.
