Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 ripe medium tomatoes
1 deep dish pie crust
1/2 c. chopped onion or scallions
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sharp cheese*
1/2 to 1 c. mayonnaise*
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. chives
3 to 4 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on pie crust and brown according to directions.
Peel and slice tomatoes into thick slices.
Alternate tomatoes and onions, sprinkling seasonings.
Mix cheese and mayonnaise; put on top of tomato slices.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
