Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    6 bananas
    vanilla wafers
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch; mix well.
    Add salt, butter and milk; cook until warm.
    Add beaten egg yolks and vanilla; cook until thick.
    Pour over bananas and wafers in bowl.
    Add beaten egg whites on top and let brown just a little.
