Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 small onion, chopped or dried onions
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix well.
Drop by teaspoon in hot grease.
Mix before using. Needs to rise in warm place.
Do not stir anymore.
