Lime Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 lb. miniature marshmallows
    20 red maraschino cherries
    2 small cans crushed pineapple
    2 small cartons small curd cottage cheese
    1 pt. whipped cream or substitute whipped topping
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water.
    Add marshmallows and warm mixture a little on stove.
    When cool, add pineapple and refrigerate until partially congealed.
    Fold in cottage cheese, nuts and cherries; then add whipped cream.
    Refrigerate.
    Will keep up to 4 days.
