Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. chicken broth
    3 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of sugar
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil or parsley
Preparation
    Bring broth to a boil.
    Add tomatoes, onion, salt and sugar. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 30 minutes.
    Puree soup in batches in a blender or food processor.
    Return soup to pot; simmer for 2 minutes.
    Stir in basil just before serving.
