Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots, cleaned and sliced
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook carrots and onion together in boiling salted water until very tender, 30 to 45 minutes.
Drain and mash, then transfer to an electric mixer bowl.
Using the mixer, blend in butter, eggs, milk and cheese.
Add Worcestershire sauce; season to taste with salt and pepper.
Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Top should be lightly browned and the casserole firmly set in center.
