1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 3/4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa, oil, milk and nuts.
Spread in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle over flour mixture.
Pour boiling water over entire batter.
Bake 45 minutes.
Makes 9 servings.
