Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. liquid peppermint flavor
    2 to 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix
    cream cheese and peppermint.
    Gradually add sugar. Knead until no longer sticky.
    Divide into 4 portions.
    Knead in
    food colors
    of your choice and other flavors if desired. Shape
    into 3/4-inch
    balls and roll in sugar.
    Flatten balls with a fork or put into special pans.
    Let dry at room temperature.
    Store loosely covered in the refrigerator.
    Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
