Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 stick margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in tsp. hot water
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and margarine together, blending well.
    Add sugar gradually; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Sift flour and salt together; add alternately with buttermilk, mixing well.
    Add lemon and vanilla extract; blend.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes.
