Sweet And Sour Meat Balls - cooking recipe

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, undrained
1/2 c. sweet pickle relish
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp. instant minced garlic
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/2 green pepper, cut into 1/4-inch wide slivers (1/3 c.)
hot cooked white rice
Preparation

Mix beef with salt and pepper.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
In skillet with lid, heat oil.
Add meat balls and cook, turning or shaking, until browned on all sides.
