Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Simmer 15 minutes; place sliced beets in mixture;
    heat and can.
    Be sure to
    slice
    every beet.
    Mixture should can 8 pints.
