Baked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 c. shredded cabbage
    3 c. cracker crumbs
    pepper to taste
    1 stick margarine
    approximately 1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Mix cabbage and cracker crumbs and place in a casserole dish. Put in oven that has been heated to 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage wilts.
    Melt margarine.
    Add pepper and milk; heat to scalding point.
    Pour over wilted cabbage.
    Return to oven and continue cooking about 50 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean.
    Good hot or cold.
