Lemon Squares - cooking recipe

6 Tbsp. cold, unsalted butter
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
1 c. plus 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. finely ground walnuts
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Blend the butter, brown sugar, 1 cup of the flour and the walnuts until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
Press all but 1/2 cup of the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden around the edges.
