Hot Asparagus Rolls(Or Hors D'Oeuvres) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

20 to 24 slices thin white bread
3 oz. Blue cheese (room temperature)
8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1 egg, beaten
20 to 24 asparagus spears (two 10 1/2 oz. cans)
1/2 lb. (or more) margarine, melted
Preparation

Trim crusts, flatten bread with rolling pin.
Blend cheese and egg.
Spread on bread, roll asparagus spear in each slice (2 if asparagus is small), fasten with toothpicks.
Dip in melted margarine.
Bake 15 minutes, or until brown in 400\u00b0 oven.
They freeze nicely and if frozen remove from freezer and let thaw in refrigerator, then bake.
