Chicken With Herbs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 large garlic clove
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    8 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. dried basil
Preparation
    Rub chicken with garlic, then salt and pepper.
    Throw away garlic.
    Melt butter with oil in small saucepan.
    Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, parlsey and basil.
    Brush chicken all over with mixture, then place skin-side down on lined broiler rack. Place under boiler for 7 to 10 minutes on each side, basting frequently with butter mixture.
    After 15 minutes, test chicken for doneness by inserting skewer into thigh, if juices run clear, the bird is done.
    Spoon over any remaining butter mixture.
