Holiday Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can pie filling (any flavor)
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar at medium speed.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each at low speed.
    Add flour gradually, then juice and vanilla.
    Pour batter into greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
    Score into 24 squares.
    Put a heaping teaspoonful of pie filling on each piece.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Top with 10x sugar or whipped cream.
