Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening (half butter)
1 tsp. vanilla
5 egg yolks, unbeaten
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Add shortening, vanilla, egg yolks and 1/2 cup milk.
Add flour and milk.
Beat 2 minutes.
Scrape sides and bottom of bowl. Add rest of milk.
Beat 2 more minutes.
Spoon batter into prepared pan.
Bake 60 to 70 minutes at 350\u00b0.
