Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1/2 c. pitted, sliced ripe olives
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, milk and egg in 2-quart glass casserole. Mix beef, powders and salt in 1-quart bowl.
    Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes or until pinkness disappears.
    Drain well and crumble meat.
    Stir into cornmeal along with tomatoes, corn and olives.
    Microwave on High for 8 minutes.
    Stir well.
    Microwave on High for 4 to 6 minutes longer.
    Sprinkle cheese over top. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Serves 4 to 6.
