Wild Rice And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked wild rice
    4 oz. mushrooms
    2 green onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. Monterey Jack
Preparation
    Cook and stir wild rice, mushrooms and onions in butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in water, wine, salt and pepper.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until rice is tender, 40 minutes. Stir in cheese.
