Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. bottom round or cross rib
    2 Tbsp. special oil
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Trim
    all
    the fat from the meat; cut meat in 1 1/2-inch cubes.
    Heat
    the oil in a heavy saucepan or Dutch oven.
    Brown the
    meat in it.
    Remove meat.
    In the oil remaining, brown the onions.
    Return
    the
    meat
    and mix in the salt, pepper, garlic and
    paprika
    until
    meat
    is coated.
    Add the water and tomato sauce.
    Cover
    and
    cook
    over low heat 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 4, calories 315 per serving.
