Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cubed bread or bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1/3 c. minced onions
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (12 oz.) bottles chili sauce
1/2 c. water
10 oz. jar grape jelly
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Soak bread in milk.
Combine with onions, beef, pork, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape into balls, about the size of walnuts.
In a large saucepan, combine chili sauce, water and grape jelly.
Heat to simmer.
Drop meatballs into sauce; simmer for about 1 hour. Skim off excess fat from top of sauce.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
