Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar well.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Add flour and milk alternately. Beat with mixer 2 minutes.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Bake in 2 layer pans or oblong pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
