Fruit And Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 medium red apples, unpared and cubed
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries (optional)
    1 c. frozen whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine rice, pineapple, marshmallows and sugar. Toss gently. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
    Fold in apples, cherries and nuts. Fold in whipped topping. Chill 1 hour.
    Makes 18 servings.
