Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. steak, cut in 1/8-inch thick strips
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. onion, sliced
2 green peppers, cut in strips
2 large fresh tomatoes, diced
1 c. beef broth
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Sprinkle steak with paprika and set aside.
Brown garlic in butter and add steak, onions and green peppers.
Cook until all vegetables are wilted.
Add tomatoes and broth.
Cover and simmer on low heat about 15 minutes.
Blend water with cornstarch and soy sauce; stir into steak.
Cook until thickened.
Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.
