Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 large Vidalia onions
    1 stick margarine
    Parmesan cheese
    Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions into thin rings.
    Saute in margarine until done.
    Pour 1/2 of onions in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover with Parmesan cheese, then Ritz crackers.
    Repeat layers and bake uncovered in 325\u00b0 oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Yield:
    7 servings.
