Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
6 to 8 large apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients as for pie crust (no water). Spread mixture on bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Pare and slice apples.
Spread over mixture in pan.
Sprinkle with sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Cover with pie topping.
