Mediterranean Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large red pepper
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    6 small plum tomatoes, cut in wedges
    6 large green olives
    1/4 c. capers
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 lb. scallops
    1/4 c. chopped basil or parsley
Preparation
    Cut pepper in julienne strips. In hot oil, cook garlic briefly.
    Add pepper, tomatoes, olives, capers and thyme.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Melt butter; add scallops and cook about 3 minutes. Sprinkle lemon juice and basil over and stir briefly.
    Spoon tomato mixture on heated plates with scallops over mixture.
    Serves 4.
